As an art educator, my main focus has been to assure that my students develop the learning objectives presented and gain a sense of understanding and accomplishment from the lessons. In this blog article we will cover eleven basic techniques of the beginning drawing process.  The article will provide a basic definition and description for each technique. The next four or five Creative Pictures blog post, will teach and help you implement the techniques recommended. For future related posts I will present example images or video for each technique. Depending on the complexity of the techniques I may present images as well as a video.
